OUR SYSTEM

Our System

Operating on 20 miles of track between Torrington, CT and Waterbury, CT, the Naugatuck Railroad is situated in a prime location to serve Western Connecticut's rail needs. For those looking to ship from beyond our line, our railroad has easy access to both route 8 and interstate 84. Local cities and towns that we serve include Waterbury, Bristol, Litchfield, Torrington, and Winsted among many others. We value our interchange with Pan Am Railways that allows us to easily connect with the national rail network, many New England Short Lines, and Class 1 Railroads such as CSX, NS, and CP.
